Justin Tate is the founder of Red Sands Writers Circle, a community where rough drafts are exchanged and given honest feedback. All Red Sands event details are posted on Meetup and open to writers of all genres and skill levels. The goal is for everyone to leave an event feeling supported, energized, and ready to improve their next draft.
But are critique groups always helpful? What perks and pitfalls might a writer experience when sharing their work?
After nearly a decade of critiquing and being critiqued, Justin will share all he’s learned about the importance of feedback along the agonizing road to publication, and how you can make sure your critique channels are serving you.
